Where It All Began: The Birth of ICCB
Founded in 2013, the International Cricket Club of Brussels (ICCB) was born from a shared passion for the game and a vision to create an inclusive cricketing community in the heart of Europe. What began as a small group of enthusiasts has grown into a dynamic club representing diverse cultures, talents, and age groups — united by the spirit of cricket.
A Climb Through the Ranks: Team 1’s Journey
From 2013 to 2021, ICCB Team 1 showcased remarkable growth and determination, climbing the ranks from Division 6 to Division 2 in the Belgian cricket league. Fueled by commitment, teamwork, and consistent performance, the team established itself as a competitive force, earning respect across the league and laying the foundation for the club’s future success.
A New Chapter: ICCB Rises to Division 1 and Expands
In 2022, ICCB Team 1 reached a historic milestone by securing promotion to Division 1 — a testament to years of hard work, talent, and teamwork. As the club’s reputation grew, so did its membership, welcoming players from all walks of life. To accommodate this exciting growth, ICCB launched a second team, ICCB 2, which began its journey in Division 6, continuing the club’s legacy of nurturing talent and fostering the love of cricket in Brussels.
Growing the Game: Youth Takes the Field as ICCB Expands
In 2025, ICCB took a significant step forward by introducing its first Under-11 team, laying the foundation for the next generation of cricketers. As youth development became a key focus, the senior teams continued to shine — with ICCB 1 competing strongly in Division 2 and ICCB 2 making its mark in Division 4. The club’s commitment to both performance and grassroots growth truly reflected its vision of building cricket for all.
